New drop: The Mother Tongue Collection ✦ أهلاً وسهلاً

Our story · قصتنا

Raised between two alphabets.

Abjadiyyah (أبجدية) means “alphabet” — and the alphabet is where our story starts. Before A-B-C, there was abjad hawwaz, the old order of the Arabic letters. We grew up with both, switching languages mid-sentence and translating jokes that never quite land in English.

So we started making clothes that don’t need translating. Every design is ours, from the first sketch to the final print: the sayings our parents repeated, the signs we walked past on the way to school, the TV mornings that still live rent-free in our heads.

Nostalgic, funny, and fluent in two worlds.

What we make

Tees, hoodies, crewnecks and totes — designed in-house and produced in small runs. When a design sells out, it might come back. Or it might become a collector’s item. الله أعلم.

Who we make it for

For the diaspora kids, the third-culture adults, the cousins back home, and anyone who has ever been asked “wait, what does that mean?” about their own shirt.
